Stephanie Shparago, Instructor
began dancing when she was five years old. She received her early training under the direction of Tracy Tritz and Lauren Parets. In high school, Stephanie trained at Giordano Dance School in Evanston where she was a member of the Giordano Juniors Company. As a Giordano Junior, Stephanie was trained in several styles of dance including Giordano Jazz Technique. Stephanie has been teaching and choreographing all over the Chicagoland area for the past nine years. Stephanie studied Social Work and Dance at Northeastern Illinois University, where she graduated with honors and earned her Bachelors of Social Work in the Spring of 2016. Stephanie was a dance scholarship recipient under the direction of Jamie Farrell and was one of the representatives for the University at the American College Dance Association conference. Stephanie worked for Everybody Dance Now! Chicago, a nonprofit that provides free weekly dance classes and enrichment programming to youth in Chicago, as their Enrichment Coordinator and directed their Performance Troupe. She is the creator and director of Dancing for Dancers, a benefit performance for EDN!C that has brought hundreds of dancers together to raise thousands of dollars for EDN!C. Stephanie is currently a member of the EDN!C Advisory Board and continues to plan and direct Dancing for Dancers. Stephanie loves teaching all of the talented and hardworking dancers of Reverie!
