Auditions

Dancers interested in joining the company are required to audition. An audition does not guarantee a spot in the company.

Commitment

RDC members are expected to take their participation in the program seriously. Dancers with poor class or rehearsal attendance/participation may be removed from choreography or asked to leave the program at any time. Dancers who leave the company mid-season, or who are asked to leave, are subject to a fine of up to $1,000 per dance to cover re-choreography fees. Dancers and their parents are required to sign a commitment agreement prior to auditioning.

Pre-Professional Company

The Pre-Professional Program is for the advanced-level performer committed to making dance a part of their future. The Pre-Pro program runs Monday–Thursday from 4:15–7:15 p.m. and includes daily ballet class, daily jumps/turns technique and daily company rehearsal time. Pre-Pro dancers have multiple solo, duet and trio opportunities throughout the year.

Pre-Pro Company members are allowed to take an unlimited amount of technique classes beyond their Pre-Professional requirements at no additional tuition cost (during the school year). Pre-Pro dancers are on a monthly payment plan of $600.00 per month (Sept-June), which includes all technique class tuition fees (this is a 45% discount). This does not include costume fees, competition/convention fees, private lessons, summer rehearsals/classes or tuition for any siblings in the RDA program. If a Pre-Pro dancer chooses to participate in any additional Reverie Dance Company, an added rehearsal fee will apply.
